Mais là on parle d'un indice dont le résultat moyen à changé. Par exemple, généralement, plus une équipe à de turnover, plus elle a de chance de remporter le match. Pour le coup, il y a encore quelques années, si une équipe réalisait 300 yards ou plus à la passe, elle avait plus de risque de perdre que de gagner. Or, cette tendance c'est aujourd'hui inversé. Cela montre la domination en NFL du jeu de passe plutôt que du jeu au sol.
